Sharon
Heilmann, USA, certainly enjoys my patterns - look at the
lovely quilts she made. And Shraron wrote the following:
Barbara,
Finished
these quite awhile ago, and finally got pictures taken
of them. They were a lot of fun! The angel
has "Peace, Love and Hope" quilted in the
border (one on each of the three top, left and bottom).
The Children of the World was really a lot of fun!
They will both be going into the small quilt auction at
our Mountain Top Quilters show here in Prescott the
first weekend of June.
I had sent
you the Two Pals quilt picture which you have in the
Galley. I made two of these and gave one to our
veterinarian for a Christmas present. He had it
framed and hung in his office, and says he gets a lot of
nice compliments on it.
Thanks so
much,
Sharon
Heilman

Feb. 2004 - Now in Cuba...
Ann Casey mailed me the
picture of her version - and read the story behind - Thank
you Ann and a big Thank You to all of you standing
behind the 25 hearts

...
I wanted to thank you for the beautiful quilt pattern on
your website. My 17 year old daughter is off to Cuba
with her high school class, to study at a teacher's
college and meet local students. I wanted to send
something handmade as a present, so when I saw your
pattern of children linking hands, I thought it would be
perfect. I surrounded it with 25 hearts, one for each of
the participants in the trip, and the name of the school
on the bottom. All the students have signed the back of
the hanging. Thank you for making it possible.
Ann Casey
ps. The wrinkle on the pink
dress just needs a press; it's not permanent.- It was
folded
